This lively workshop features four artists from Oaxaca demonstrating their unique styles, with an opportunity for hands-on work following demos. Each artist works in a different manner to celebrate their Zapotec culture and heritage, and communicate their belief in how expressive clay is as a medium—whether working with traditional processes and images or depicting contemporarry issues. Join in this very special intercultural opportunity, bringing together Oregon and Oaxaca potters.
